God loved Gomer….

God Gave Me The Revelation That He Loved Gomer

Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways.
Proverbs 20:30 GNT
https://bible.com/bible/68/pro.20.30.GNT

I left God to go back to stripping and prostition …. I started dating drug dealers … and I stopped going to church. And I know for a fact that I feel like Gomer .

What Do You Do …

What do you do when you used to have the pretty clothes and good career and you left God… what do you do when people are watching you destroyed and no one wants you… wants to help you and make fun of you… what do you do when the one you said you hated (God) is who you need the most… what do you do when… when you’ve gone so low in bondage that you hit rock bottom and now you cant hide it anymore… people can see that your worthless …. you wait for the day… that God redeems you. I love Hosea .. because I am Gomer.

I look at this picture and I see myself. Completely and utterly destroyed…. and I wonder how can a man love someone that much ? How is it possible .. after all that Gomer has done and he took her as is.

Before I lost everything I used to pride myself and having three jobs, going to school, living in a two bedroom apartment (that was gated)… needing no one for anything… And I knew that if a man wanted me he had to have money… Then I left God and found myself homeless and abused…. like Gomer… I remember the times where I lost my mind because of the abusive relationships I endured … knowing that God had a Hosea for me. It takes rock bottom… it took going to the valley for me to see that I would rather have God than what the world has to offer … it took me to be left with nothing to be healed.

It Makes Me Sad

When I look at young girls who think prostitution and stripping is the way to go… that being a vixen or some Instagram model is the way to go …. because I know the truth .. smh

I anxiously await my Hosea…

And I really pray that women wake up and see that stripping…. prostitution… and dating gang members is not the way to go.

What I Learned From Ruth

May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord , the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
Ruth 2:12 NIV

Coming Back To God

I am someone who left God , went back to sin …. got destroyed … and then came back to God… And this is what I learned from Ruth.

It Doesn’t Matter

When I was sin I used to date drug dealers and men who were in gangs. Actually I left God and yet He was still calling me … telling me to return unto Him. And I did… but I had to deal with the natural consequences of my sin.

When Boaz had finished eating and drinking and was in good spirits, he went over to lie down at the far end of the grain pile. Ruth approached quietly, uncovered his feet and lay down. In the middle of the night something startled the man; he turned—and there was a woman lying at his feet! “Who are you?” he asked. “I am your servant Ruth,” she said. “Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer of our family.” “The Lord bless you, my daughter,” he replied. “This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor. And now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All the people of my town know that you are a woman of noble character.
Ruth 3:7‭-‬11 NIV

Marriage Is Beautiful

I guess when it comes to marriage I’m kind of like the Apostle Paul. I never wanted to be married because I was always able to take care of myself. I never needed anyone and I was kind of prideful about it… Until I lost everything … I never knew how mean people can be when your heart is broken because I always had money… I used money to fill voids of pain and accept my hurt when it was gone…

But How Does This Relate To Ruth

Ruth lost her husband and had to leave her family.. (Ruth 1:16-17) she had to leave something that was dead and trust God through poverty, through work, and a new found faith. What is dead in your life ? I know for me my old life in California , my wealth , and my dreams are dead… and I have left my family like Ruth … and somehow I have to faith it and gather the strength like Ruth to move forward ..

I love Ruth’s character … because let me tell you dating thugs and drug dealers are not it honey .. trust me I know from experience.

Boaz was a older man I believe and that’s beautiful. Because of Ruth I have lost the desire for a worldly man. A man that fears God, loves the Bible, and is stable is a good man. Not these stupid rappers and drug dealers… that’s a fantasy that I dont want.

A Woman

I have learned like Gomer … you can leave God and be with men that buy you things but the moment … you hold your ground and your foundations of God kick in they are going to leave you. A man that loves God is a man for me. Christian men (real Christian men not pretenders) are the men that women should desire…. who wants a thug when you can have God ?

After the Sin

You’re left with a broken heart…. but if you work and trust God like Ruth HE (Psalm 24) will redeem you.. God I thank you in advance …

Today

Think about your dating choices as a Christian because they matter. Dont pursue thugs, drug dealers , rappers, and men who ONLY talk about money.

Focus on God… if God sends you a prophet as a husband love him…dont make fun of him for loving God…. if He sends a witness as your husband love him… because trust me life of the other side of recovery isn’t easy. Think before you act in your relationships and ask for wisdom.

Amen ? Amen.

By His Grace ❤

I Am Going To Discuss The Consequences of Adultery & Prostitution

We know the story of Hosea & Gomer. A prostitute and a unfaithful woman who left her husband and children for adultery (Hosea 1 – 3). When God finally brought her back and redeemed her she was in bondage , in debt, and destroyed. But By His Grace , her husband (Hosea ) bought her back.

We live in a time with disgusting music running around from female rappers and r&b singers that make it seem like it’s ok to be a whore. But they’re not telling you about the sexual transmitted diseases you can catch, the dosmetic violence you endure , or the homelessness that you encounter from prostitution or even the insanity that comes after heartache . This disgusting music envokes a psychological fantasy…. that ultimately leaves you with nothing…

He Who Is Without Sin Throw The First Stone

But the truth is , God has mercy on who HE pleases and compassion on who HE chooses.

Is that grounds for complaining that God is unfair? Not so fast, please. God told Moses, “ I’m in charge of mercy. I’m in charge of compassion.” Compassion doesn’t originate in our bleeding hearts or moral sweat, but in God’s mercy. The same point was made when God said to Pharaoh, “I picked you as a bit player in this drama of my salvation power.” All we’re saying is that God has the first word, initiating the action in which we play our part for good or ill. Are you going to object, “So how can God blame us for anything since he’s in charge of everything? If the big decisions are already made, what say do we have in it?” Who in the world do you think you are to second-guess God? Do you for one moment suppose any of us knows enough to call God into question? Clay doesn’t talk back to the fingers that mold it, saying, “Why did you shape me like this?” Isn’t it obvious that a potter has a perfect right to shape one lump of clay into a vase for holding flowers and another into a pot for cooking beans? If God needs one style of pottery especially designed to show his angry displeasure and another style carefully crafted to show his glorious goodness, isn’t that all right? Either or both happens to Jews, but it also happens to the other people. Hosea put it well: I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved. In the place where they yelled out, “You’re nobody!” they’re calling you “God’s living children.” Isaiah maintained this same emphasis: If each grain of sand on the seashore were numbered and the sum labeled “chosen of God,” They’d be numbers still, not names; salvation comes by personal selection. God doesn’t count us; he calls us by name. Arithmetic is not his focus. Isaiah had looked ahead and spoken the truth: If our powerful God had not provided us a legacy of living children, We would have ended up like ghost towns, like Sodom and Gomorrah. How can we sum this up? All those people who didn’t seem interested in what God was doing actually embraced what God was doing as he straightened out their lives. And Israel, who seemed so interested in reading and talking about what God was doing, missed it. How could they miss it? Because instead of trusting God, they took over. They were absorbed in what they themselves were doing. They were so absorbed in their “God projects” that they didn’t notice God right in front of them, like a huge rock in the middle of the road. And so they stumbled into him and went sprawling. Isaiah (again!) gives us the metaphor for pulling this together: Careful! I’ve put a huge stone on the road to Mount Zion, a stone you can’t get around. But the stone is me! If you’re looking for me, you’ll find me on the way, not in the way.

Being promiscuous with your body has natural consequences such as

  • Insanity
  • Perversion
  • Abuse
  • Domestic Violence
  • Incurable STD’s
  • Homelessness & Poverty
  • Debt

Dont let this world trick you to believe you can be “free” to love who you want and do whatever you want in regards to sexual immorality… God will give you over to a debased mind and you will suffer the penalty you deserve …

What Does This Have To Do With Rahab ?

Gomer had to be destroyed before she came to God & Rahab had to be mistreated…. she was a moral leper WHEN she found God… and even Mary Madalagne had to be healed from insanity when she came to Jesus… When you go to Jesus STAY there and dont let the devil trick you with music and bad company.

******

And when you get married attention getting when you go to work , school , or even church from other men shouldn’t be your primary focus….. It shouldn’t even be a thought ! Why would you boast about other men looking at you when you already have a husband? Who cares! focus on God and your family! Be focused on God, the husband , and family HE gave you…. because it’s terrible out here.

And dont think you can get away scotch free from your adultery … David & Bathsheba had to pay for it… You ain’t David so what do you think is going to happen to you ?

… But anyways… Remember these verses the next time you want to be promiscuous, have a adulterous friend, or want to cheat on your spouse for no apparent reason.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel: ‘When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit in unfaithfulness against the Lord , and that person is guilty, then he shall confess the sin which he has committed. He shall make restitution for his trespass in full, plus one-fifth of it, and give it to the one he has wronged. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘If any man’s wife goes astray and behaves unfaithfully toward him, and a man lies with her carnally, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband, and it is concealed that she has defiled herself, and there was no witness against her, nor was she caught— if the spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife, who has defiled herself; or if the spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife, although she has not defiled herself— then the man shall bring his wife to the priest. He shall bring the offering required for her, one-tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil on it and put no frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering of jealousy, an offering for remembering, for bringing iniquity to remembrance. ‘And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the Lord . And the priest shall put her under oath, and say to the woman, “If no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone astray to uncleanness while under your husband’s authority, be free from this bitter water that brings a curse. But if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority, and if you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has lain with you”— and may this water that causes the curse go into your stomach, and make your belly swell and your thigh rot.” ‘ Then the woman shall say, “Amen, so be it.” When he has made her drink the water, then it shall be, if she has defiled herself and behaved unfaithfully toward her husband, that the water that brings a curse will enter her and become bitter, and her belly will swell, her thigh will rot, and the woman will become a curse among her people.

“But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to idols. I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to turn away from her immorality. “Therefore, I will throw her on a bed of suffering, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer greatly unless they repent and turn away from her evil deeds. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve. To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give authority over all the nations. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots. They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star! “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

…. Basically , dont let this music fool you. Hell is real and so are sexually transmitted diseases… being a Christian doesn’t exempt you from natural consequences . Repent.

Devotional : Trusting God Through The Hard Times

Psalms 1:3

Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children because Joseph had been born to him in his old age. So one day Jacob had a special gift made for Joseph—a beautiful robe. But his brothers hated Joseph because their father loved him more than the rest of them. They couldn’t say a kind word to him. One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. “Listen to this dream,” he said. “We were out in the field, tying up bundles of grain. Suddenly my bundle stood up, and your bundles all gathered around and bowed low before mine!” His brothers responded, “So you think you will be our king, do you? Do you actually think you will reign over us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them. Soon Joseph had another dream, and again he told his brothers about it. “Listen, I have had another dream,” he said. “The sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed low before me!” But while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered what the dreams meant. When Joseph’s brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance. As he approached, they made plans to kill him. “Here comes the dreamer!” they said. “Come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns. We can tell our father, ‘A wild animal has eaten him.’ Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams!” So when Joseph arrived, his brothers ripped off the beautiful robe he was wearing. Then they grabbed him and threw him into the cistern. Now the cistern was empty; there was no water in it. Then the brothers killed a young goat and dipped Joseph’s robe in its blood. They sent the beautiful robe to their father with this message: “Look at what we found. Doesn’t this robe belong to your son?” Meanwhile, the Midianite traders arrived in Egypt, where they sold Joseph to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Potiphar was captain of the palace guard.

Let’s Think About Joseph

Joseph was chosen by God and had dreams that came to pass… Joseph didn’t ask for the dream, He just had them. Because Joseph was God’s anointed and His chosen his brothers hated him.. Not only that they made plans to hurt Joseph to trap him but they didnt know that God was still in control.

When People Come Against You You may have not done anything wrong , you may have just done what God told you to do and people are coming against you….. but you have to keep going. Joseph went through a 13 year process there were times that he wondered … God why ? Why me ? But God had it in his plan to bless Joseph to save His people !

The Dreams Are Real I am not talking about fantasies … I am talking about dreams. Don’t quit the process and don’t give up. Dreams of you preaching the gospel, dreams of you in government for God, and dreams that God gave you best selling books ! It may take a while but you have to keep going ! Be gracious and dont quit ! Serve like Joseph and trust God … struggle now , faith forever, and bless God for eternity !
