Devotional : Lord Teach Me To Be Humble In Prayer

God Always Answers My Prayers

…. but I didnt say it’s always a response I wanted. There are some (MANY) times that God does tell me no and that I have to wait or sometimes Be Still.

But I had to learn. When I pray I dont go to God demanding , I go in humility in repentance . When you spend time today check your heart, your attitude, and you posture . God doesn’t have to do anything for you . God wants a repentant heart. If you need God to move get into repentance and humility THEN He will move (Psalm 51).

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. Interlude My God will send forth his unfailing love and faithfulness. I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey— whose teeth pierce like spears and arrows, and whose tongues cut like swords. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May your glory shine over all the earth. My enemies have set a trap for me. I am weary from distress. They have dug a deep pit in my path, but they themselves have fallen into it. Interlude My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises! Wake up, my heart! Wake up, O lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song. I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations. For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.

When God Tells You “You Are To Strong.”

New International Version
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers – 1 Peter 3:7

My Background

I am a child abuse survivor and I have mastered that art of being abused at home, going to school, and going to work like nothing was wrong with me. I remember there was a time when I was in high school that I walked to work after a snow storm because no one would help me get there.

After high school I immediately went to the military (The United States Marine Corps). I got through Marine bootcamp with a pinched nerve in my spine, a fractured foot, swollen legs, and DAYS without sleep.

When I was in the Marine Corps I went through a hard trial that I had to lose 27 pounds in a  week and half.. and I did it. I have learned to be strong. I had no choice. I remember when God began to deal with me about my life…

He told me , “When women abuse their daughters they form a ungodly strength that forms into masculinity .”

and this is true… I know it for myself. God had to deliver me from homosexuality and being masculine…. Because I was to strong..

As I Trust God Prayerfully…

I kept asking God… “Why.. Why are you so bent on destroying me? Why do you hate me ? What is it that you want ?”

God told me… I don’t hate you … You’re just to strong.

Being Feminine is Biblical

The Passion Translation tells us this… But what does being feminine mean? You have to bear children, you have to honor your husbands, and you pray with adoration….

But as my life continues I see that God is LITERALLY breaking me down… to become a woman again…

A woman who wears make-up and high heels who actually loves her children… and her husband… a proverbs 31 woman.

Again, this isn’t easy for me.. Because I am so used to doing everything by myself.. with NO help.. but I guess that was for a season…

As A Woman

If you are going through a hard time.. ask God.. “What do you need me to learn in this season?”

For me… it’s how to be a woman again.. but what is it for you? When we shift our perspective , it can give you the faith and prayer position to get through your trials.

Life is tough … but thank God for Jesus.

Devotional : My Bible

Joshua 1:8-9 New Living Translation (NLT)

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

In our day to day lives we have to be determined to hold on to what we have … don’t be paranoid and don’t live in fear but know that God is with you. Care more for other people, take your Bible with you to work you’re going to need it. Read The Bible and pray for those who have cancer. Cherish every moment God gives you because life is so short. Let Him heal you from every pain and know that He really does care about you.

Isaiah 53:5 New Living Translation (NLT)

But he was pierced for our rebellion,
    crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.

Amen …

But God ❤

A Woman Who Fears The Lord

When you look in the Book of Exodus you encounter many divine deliverance’s from God. Immediately in the beginning of Exodus, you are introduced to the History of the children of Israel and what there current situation is.

Your job matters

I think the medical ministry is beautiful because God can use you at the right place and the right time. How beautiful is it, to be a Christian in medicine …

Exodus 1:15-16 New Living Translation (NLT)

15 Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: 16 “When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver.[a] If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live.”

In this passage the two midwives feared God and obeyed their beliefs. Because they obeyed God, God honored them and gave them their own families (Exodus 1:20 NLT). So today or when the situation arises… and someone doesn’t know if they are going to keep their child or faced with the idea of abortion, remember this verse .

Exodus 1:17 New Living Translation (NLT)

17 But because the midwives feared God, they refused to obey the king’s orders. They allowed the boys to live, too.

God is going to honor you for being obedient. Children are a reward. And as we begin to move forward we need to step up, stop taking plan B, control ourselves, and flee sexual immorality. Not only that, as Christians we say NO TO ABORTIONS! And Plan B is included in this.

So if you know someone who has children or is preparing for motherhood… why don’t you be kind? Buy some pampers, order some things on Amazon for them… Help them get formula.. Be kind and show the love of God because He is watching you… and if you please King, He will reward you.

Father I pray,

That we as Christians will become bold. I pray that we will not get abortions and we will stop Plan B… I pray that we don’t abuse our children and according to Malachi 3: 17-18 NLT we love our  children ..I pray there is a difference and the people may see that we serve Jehovah. Amen
