Devotion: A Beautiful Promise

I was scrolling and looking online the other day and I found this beautiful photo of Sarah, Abraham’s first wife.

I looked at this photo and instantly fell in love, because of the promise of God. This photo shows how faithful God is. That even when we disqualify ourselves God is still faithful.

2 Timothy 2:13 English Standard Version (ESV)

13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—

for he cannot deny himself.

There are somethings that I am believing God for at this moment. Some things that others have betrayed me over, hurt me over, laughed at me over, and yet I still I have faith in God.

Today, what are you believing God for? Is it love, a new job, a house, a husband, or a spouse (understand that I do not stand for homosexuality so do not pervert what I am saying). What God has for you is for you. Take today to get in the presence of God and stop worrying. Stop worrying about your clothes, food, and whatever else is bothering you. Trust God.

Testimony: When I was in the wilderness, there was a time that I was homeless. I was staying at a shelter. During this time God began to open doors for me to preach and lead services. God told me not to wait for perfect conditions to do what He has called me to do. I was homeless and preached. Frustrated and preached. Depressed and preached.

During this time I was and am still a young woman and I had my struggles. Wanting someone to share my pain and heart with (basically looking for love in the wrong places) and I got hurt. Also, it seemed liked if I even talked to a man or male counterpart people would be angry and say I was in bondage (even though I am allowed to desire husband.. but ok). I felt so angry and frustrated. But during this time God began to deal with me, while others were gossiping, God began to show me His beautiful promises. That I wasn’t going to be in a shelter for long. That I was going to begin in ministry. That He was (AND HE DID) move me out of California so I could start over with my life. God did what He said He was going to do. There were times when I did laugh when God told me His promise, and to be honest there are some things now that just might get a laugh (I am not going to lie to you but be truthful). But the point is when God says it, no matter if you try to bring a Hagar in the situation, it is and will be so! God-s Decree!

So if you are believing God for job, a child, a son, healing, a husband, or a spouse, or education….. God is going to do it! Trust Him !!!

Devotion : The Truth About Numbers

Numbers next to Colossians and Song of Solomon has got to be one of my favorite books of the Bible. Let me tell you why .

Numbers is clear evidence that God will strike you dead. Sometimes we as believers think that we can just do whatever we want to do and that’s not true ! Actually, it’s far from it. Your sin and disobedience will cause you to die in your wilderness.

  1. All sins will be forgiven except…….

“Listen to this carefully. I’m warning you. There’s nothing done or said that can’t be forgiven. But if you persist in your slanders against God’s Holy Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives, sawing off the branch on which you’re sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.” He gave this warning because they were accusing him of being in league with Evil.
Mark 3:28‭-‬30 MSG
https://bible.com/bible/97/mrk.3.28-30.MSG

2. When God makes up that He is through with a generation …. THATS IT ! There is nothing that you can do .

By this time Eli was very old. He kept getting reports on how his sons were ripping off the people and sleeping with the women who helped out at the sanctuary. Eli took them to task: “What’s going on here? Why are you doing these things? I hear story after story of your corrupt and evil carrying on. Oh, my sons, this is not right! These are terrible reports I’m getting, stories spreading right and left among God ’s people! If you sin against another person, there’s help—God’s help. But if you sin against God , who is around to help?” But they were far gone in disobedience and refused to listen to a thing their father said. So God , who was fed up with them, decreed their death. But the boy Samuel was very much alive, growing up, blessed by God and popular with the people. A holy man came to Eli and said: “This is God ’s message: I revealed myself openly to your ancestors when they were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. Out of all the tribes of Israel, I chose your family to be my priests: to preside at the Altar, to burn incense, to wear the priestly robes in my presence. I put your ancestral family in charge of all the sacrificial offerings of Israel. So why do you now treat as mere loot these very sacrificial offerings that I commanded for my worship? Why do you treat your sons better than me, turning them loose to get fat on these offerings, and ignoring me? Therefore—this is God ’s word, the God of Israel speaking—I once said that you and your ancestral family would be my priests indefinitely, but now— God ’s word, remember!—there is no way this can continue. I honor those who honor me; those who scorn me I demean. “Be well warned: It won’t be long before I wipe out both your family and your future family. No one in your family will make it to old age! You’ll see good things that I’m doing in Israel, but you’ll see it and weep, for no one in your family will live to enjoy it. I will leave one person to serve at my Altar, but it will be a hard life, with many tears. Everyone else in your family will die before their time. What happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be the proof: Both will die the same day. Then I’ll establish for myself a true priest. He’ll do what I want him to do, be what I want him to be. I’ll make his position secure and he’ll do his work freely in the service of my anointed one. Survivors from your family will come to him begging for handouts, saying, ‘Please, give me some priest work, just enough to put some food on the table.’”

In other words … DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR THE OIL GOD HAS GIVEN YOU on people that God has rejected.

Today , focus on God and who He has assigned you to minister to . Dont give your Pearl’s to the swine ! Move on and get ready to cross over !

A Good Verse To Remember :

She went and told the story to the man of God. He said, “Go sell the oil and make good on your debts. Live, both you and your sons, on what’s left.”

Each Of Us Is An Original

  • In my prayer time God began to deal with me about love. What it really means to love. A lot of us Christian’s are in a deep amount of pain and we have used people as idols to deal with this pain…. but it’s not going so good right now .
  1. People are not your God

No other gods, only me.
Exodus 20:3 MSG
https://bible.com/bible/97/exo.20.3.MSG

2. People make MANY mistakes that is why we all have to repent .

But in our time something new has been added. What Moses and the prophets witnessed to all those years has happened. The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:21‭-‬24 MSG

3. Sometimes people abuse other people.

Don’t you realize that I have my shelves well stocked, locked behind iron doors? I’m in charge of vengeance and payback, just waiting for them to slip up; And the day of their doom is just around the corner, sudden and swift and sure.
Deuteronomy 32:34‭-‬35 MSG

My Testimony

I am someone who God has healed from many things. I was abused as a child, rape, molestation, and very toxic unhealthy relationships were just a average part of my life.

There was a time when God warned me not to go back to my family and let them go but I didnt listen. I just wanted love. I went back and the sad reality hit me. My family did not love me nor where they capable to. There version of love is perverted and not the will of God. So …. what God told me was true and right and I was wrong .

There was a time in my life where I have dealt with my family making fun of incest in the midst of abuse….. I felt like nothing….

After many trials I finally came to the conclusion that I would rather endure with God , pray, go through trials, and suffer many things for His name sake than to go back to toxic family members who sweep what they have done under the rug. I would rather be homeless and follow Jesus than to be in a home where I have to walk past pictures of who and what happened to me. Because I have faith and believe that God is Adonai .

“Afflicted city, storm-battered, unpitied: I’m about to rebuild you with stones of turquoise, Lay your foundations with sapphires, construct your towers with rubies, Your gates with jewels, and all your walls with precious stones. All your children will have God for their teacher— what a mentor for your children! You’ll be built solid, grounded in righteousness, far from any trouble—nothing to fear! far from terror—it won’t even come close! If anyone attacks you, don’t for a moment suppose that I sent them, And if any should attack, nothing will come of it. I create the blacksmith who fires up his forge and makes a weapon designed to kill. I also create the destroyer— but no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what God ’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” God ’s Decree.
Isaiah 54:11‭-‬17 MSG

A little more to my story. The people who abused me were people of “ministry”. With that being said,

Today, if you are in situation where there is blatant abuse in your family, ministry , or relationships dont take bad advice that tell you “its family ” and “just go back home because nothing happened to you.” No. Fight the good fight and trust God. Do your absolute best to trust God. God made you an beautiful, ordained, and a anointed original. Pure. Beautiful. Kind. Smart. Intelligent. Wealthy. Fearing God. Successful. And Prosperous.

And God Is Ready For You To Be Free.

Jerusalem, you are doomed! Why do you dress in scarlet? Why do you put on jewelry and paint your eyes? You are making yourself beautiful for nothing! Your lovers have rejected you and want to kill you.

Devotion

  • I was reading this verse and God began to deal with me about how we make idols out of people. There are times when we make really bad and stupid decisions based off of people. Every advice you recieve is not good advice especially from people who do not know, love, or desire to fear God. Today I pray your desire is to put what God is saying over people and follow Jesus.

I’ve already run for dear life straight to the arms of God . So why would I run away now when you say, “Run to the mountains; the evil bows are bent, the wicked arrows Aimed to shoot under cover of darkness at every heart open to God. The bottom’s dropped out of the country; good people don’t have a chance”? But God hasn’t moved to the mountains; his holy address hasn’t changed. He’s in charge, as always, his eyes taking everything in, his eyelids Unblinking, examining Adam’s unruly brood inside and out, not missing a thing. He tests the good and the bad alike; if anyone cheats, God’s outraged. Fail the test and you’re out, out in a hail of firestones, Drinking from a canteen filled with hot desert wind. God ’s business is putting things right; he loves getting the lines straight, Setting us straight. Once we’re standing tall, we can look him straight in the eye.

Matthew 6 Message Bible
Love You Guys ! God bless !

Daily Bread

God, it seems you’ve been our home forever; long before the mountains were born, Long before you brought earth itself to birth, from “once upon a time” to “kingdom come”—you are God. So don’t return us to mud, saying, “Back to where you came from!” Patience! You’ve got all the time in the world—whether a thousand years or a day, it’s all the same to you. Are we no more to you than a wispy dream, no more than a blade of grass That springs up gloriously with the rising sun and is cut down without a second thought? Your anger is far and away too much for us; we’re at the end of our rope. You keep track of all our sins; every misdeed since we were children is entered in your books. All we can remember is that frown on your face. Is that all we’re ever going to get? We live for seventy years or so (with luck we might make it to eighty), And what do we have to show for it? Trouble. Toil and trouble and a marker in the graveyard. Who can make sense of such rage, such anger against the very ones who fear you? Oh! Teach us to live well! Teach us to live wisely and well! Come back, God —how long do we have to wait?— and treat your servants with kindness for a change. Surprise us with love at daybreak; then we’ll skip and dance all the day long. Make up for the bad times with some good times; we’ve seen enough evil to last a lifetime. Let your servants see what you’re best at— the ways you rule and bless your children. And let the loveliness of our Lord, our God, rest on us, confirming the work that we do. Oh, yes. Affirm the work that we do!
