Protecting Yourselves From Destiny Thieves

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you”. – Matthew 7:6 KJV

What God Has For You Is For You Only

One of the biggest mistakes that someone in the church can make is trying to “pour” into the to many people and telling them your formula as to how you achieved something. I am going to tell you something; I am 100 percent anti-mentorship because mentors are destiny thieves.

All on social media, you hear about “destiny swapping” – and it would be foolish to think that this does not happen in church because it does. But in the church “destiny swapping” is disguised as “mentorship”. The truth is your prayer partner is calling you on the phone and listening to every word that you say to learn your spiritual method and tactics to replace you…

You must understand that God choose you for a reason. No, I am not talking about a specific color because there are people in every ethnicity that God has hand selected. But I see so many people who God has chosen being taken down by the church through mentorship and that is not his will.

It can be hard to try and recover after someone close to you has orchestrated something evil against you. But you can not let that stop you, as Jesus did not let Judas Iscariot stop him from raising from the dead and ascending as the King of Kings – and Lord of Lords. So be careful what you say and be slow to speak – because there might be a destiny thief in your midst.

Note that I am not telling you to be paranoid but to be mindful. Many years ago I had said somethings in front of the wrong people and man do I regret it. But nobody warned me, but now I am in the position to warn you. Some people only want to get close to you because they can see God on your life like a lamp, and they want to break that light bulb so that you never shine again.

Focus On You

I want you to focus on building yourself up. One of the biggest mistakes that I made was trying to edify and build up everyone else – but I neglected myself. I was taught to do that as a young prophetess and I regret that. So I say that to you, that it is okay to be a little selfish time. It is okay to be :

  • Selfish with your time
  • Selfish with your goals
  • Selfish with your mindset
  • Selfish with your peace
  • Selfish with your money
  • Selfish with your thinking
  • Selfish with your thought process

That is a lesson that I had to learn the hard way. I had to learn on my own that it is okay to be say “no”, guard your heart from people even at church, and it is okay to be selfish with your life. Matter of fact, sometimes being selfish will save your life from a whole lot of trouble and turmoil.

So, as you move on with your day, life, and time.. Understand that being selfish sometimes can be a good thing. It can save you and protect you from destiny thieves.

Love,

Minister Diamond

What Is Joy ?

What Is Joy ?

Then Ezra said to them, “Go [your way], eat the rich festival food, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be worried, for the joy of the LORD is your strength and your stronghold.” – Nehemiah 8:10 AMP

Being Content

As a new divorcee , and single mother I have learned the practice of being content in every season that I am in. I find myself revisiting memories of bad choices and decisions that I made in the past, and determining to do better this time. Now being back in my personal territory of Chicago, I find myself mentally healing. I have been forced to face some painful things that happened but God has been alongside me through it all. I know that in the future I will be released for something great, but now I am content where I am in life.

I think as a believer it is important to learn the art and talent of being content. Many times people post their “success” on social media – but a picture could truly be a lie. People only post what they want you to see, not what is really going on behind closed doors. When you learn to be content, you are not bound by what people think.. I learned this from following Christ closely in this season.

When you focus on grief your life will be cut short by grief. Life (despite what people teach) is not meant to be filled with pain and suffering – but with joy. You have to learn how to make your personal life journey “joyous”.  When release joy into the atmosphere, it makes it easier for gravity to return joy back to you by law of attraction.

Honor Yourself

I am a firm believer of not waiting for someone to do what I know how to do myself. Today why don’t you honor yourself? Compliment yourself? Encourage yourself? Stop waiting for someone else to affirm you and affirm yourself. Learn the art of engulfing yourself with healthy books, good podcasts, and words of affirmation that will draw you closer to God.

Who Do I personally listen to?

Below I posted some people and some books that I am reading right now in life.

1 – The praying mom by Stormie Omartian.

2 – I have begun to listen to sermons by Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell

3 – I have started reading this book by Heidi St. John (Bible Promises For Moms)

I have made the decision in my own life that I will not allow what happened to me to be the cause of me becoming a failure. I think in life I have had to push past a lot of abuse that I endured as a child – let it go and give it to God. Because I can’t allow what happened to me destroy me mentally, physically, and emotionally. I have mastered smiling again, liking what I see when I look in the mirror and loving the fact that I am alive. But it took a long time to accomplish that.

In life you can’t allow what people do to be the pilot of your emotions. You must move on. I pray that whatever is causing you to toss and turn at night will be released and fly away from your mind so that you can have peace.

Vision Of An Island

I remember there was a time not too long ago, I would close my eyes and envision myself living peacefully on an island by myself. That reality that I formed in my mind was better than my reality. Ironically, overtime my life (in real life) became a beautiful version of what I envisioned in my own mind.

I had to learn to let go of what people have done and move on. Let me tell you the people who have done evil to me in the past have been repaid and some are even dead now. But I learned that the people who hurt my feelings are dead, and I am still alive. I have officially outlived all the naysayers, lies, and gossip about me… So, there is no point of living a life of depression. Life is not purposed and meant for you to live in some sort of emo state – but instead to live a life filled with joy.

In life, you should not be waking up looking forward to death – but looking forward to something new each day. Your life is still in the filming stages of something great so keep going. I believe that God is going to generate something greater and better for you. I believe that happiness will become a regular emotion for you.

Cut Out Toxic People In Your Life

There is a old saying that goes that you are the company that you keep and that is true. When you remove people who are toxic and are set in there ways of “toxic-ness” – then you will see a transformation of your life. At 29 years old I have had to practice this and yes toxic people don’t like that and I don’t care. People who are ill intentioned should not be in your life and should not be in your vicinity. That will help you have mental clarity as well. Don’t waste your time and energy on people who are “fake” and mean you no good. You want to be surrounded by people who genuinely love you and want you to succeed in life.

Conclusion

When you surround yourself with joy then you will indeed have joy. To have joy you have to remove people from your life who mean you no good. Focus. Remain positive. Live a little. Things will surely change … Slowly but surely for the better.

GREAT NEWS

Ezekiel 2:5-7New International Version

And whether they listen or fail to listen—for they are a rebellious people—they will know that a prophet has been among them. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.

***

There are so many things that I love about God but I PRAISE God that he doesn’t need someone else to believe to move on someone’s behalf . Despite people opinion , God is going to do what he wants to do regardless and that is great news . So stop worrying , keep tithing , and keep believing God because there is great news waiting for you around the corner !

Here I Am Grieving Again ..

So , as I told you all my story about my other baby in heaven . But today .. right now I’m thinking about him again. Honestly , sometimes I look at pictures of his father because like … I try to imagine what the baby would have looked like . I don’t think people understand how painful an abortion is . I made a huge mistake, I was told that I would be put in the brig for being overweight in the Marines while I was pregnant . I was left alone and ( I was an atheist at the time ) I just figured the baby was better off with God than with me . After that I started dating Jesus . I used to just go to the beach and sit by the ocean and cry and talk to God . Now I admit I wasn’t the best person before I knew Jesus but I know I would have been a good mom . What is ever harder is that a pastor told me that abortion was the right decision, which is why I left the church I wish I never listened to her . Years later I think about the baby , because you know when you get around prophets they tend to tell you what God is saying and everyone keeps prophesying “it wasn’t your fault “ … but that doesn’t take the pain away . When I look at Ruth I feel so guilty . Sometimes I close my eyes and imagine cuddling next to him and holding him . It’s the worst when I dream about him , I cry . I dream about him in heaven wrapped in all white cloth in a basket like Moses . That’s the worst . I’m glad God has him but I don’t know how to stop hating myself . I pray but … like it doesn’t take the pain away . His father ( not saying I miss him cause I don’t ) has a very beautiful smile so it’s painful when I think of him ( I think it was a boy because I have been pregnant two times and I felt totally different with Ruth … with Ruth I was sooooo hungry and you could see it in my face , with the other baby I was so angry and emotional (not hungry ) and a little bloated ) . Then what made it even worst is that the fathers friends went to my job and told everyone he didn’t want me because I was black and they laughed at me (while I was pregnant ) . Man that was a terrible time , I think the self hatred came because I don’t know why I let what they said get to me . But I’m trying to forgive myself . I don’t think his father and I would have ever worked out . But I know that that baby would have been beautiful like his father . For a while I hated his father , I just kept blocking him because I hated that he left me to deal with that situation alone . But now I’m learning to let go . I think I need therapy to deal with it . I read the Bible a lot . But it’s so hard because … I just feel so guilty. I’m watching my daughter grow up wondering how my other baby would have been . That’s the worst feeling in the world . I honestly hate myself for what I did and I know God forgives me , but I don’t know how to forgive myself . That’s the truth about abortion , you’ll hate yourself when it’s over like me .

Why Are Black Men Attacking Black Female Prophets In The Church ?

Psalm 46:10New International Version

10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

So understand that I do not follow every female prophet because every female is not a prophet . But yes there are female prophets . But what I am seeing online is black men attacking black female prophets and what is even more disturbing is that there husbands are not protecting them against these men . Years ago , I said I was brutally attacked as a female prophet but to see it openly happening now is very wild. What I will say is that I pray that God protects his black female prophets . It is so disturbing to see black men in the church verbally attacking black female prophets and degrading them . This is what I know , that the Lord is an avenger ! No one is getting away with anything .
