Amazing Love

The Book of Hosea

Dates With Jesus

This is a movie I watch frequently on YouTube. I think YouTube has some good and bad points to it (Ecclesiastes 7:16) … but it can definitely be used by God to educate some people. I rented this movie because I needed a reminder that God is real and that He loves me. This movie is inspired and based off of the love of Hosea and Gomer. In the Bible in Hosea 1:2 the Lord tells His prophet (Hosea) to marry a prostitute. Yes… I said it . A prostitute…

My Testimony

I myself was a prostitute … I have endured a lot of pain in my life because of my choices and the abuse of others. My testimony is that when I was in my sin God told me “I have a Hosea for you.” Now I am no longer in prostitution because of this is the verse God gave me to quit…

Hosea 3:3 New Living Translation (NLT)

Then I said to her, “You must live in my house for many days and stop your prostitution. During this time, you will not have sexual relations with anyone, not even with me.[a]

Why is this movie so important ?

Because it gives me hope… And it should for you to.. How can a man (a prophet) have this love for Gomer… A prostitute who left her marriage for another man. But God told His prophet to go find his wife (Hosea 3 The Message Bible).

Look At This Preview of The Movie

The Written Revelation …

Obviously, God told me that this (Gomer) is how he sees me. Like a unfaithful woman yet He still loves me . And God has purposed me and commanded me to put away my prostitution and serve Him.. The true and Living God.

Now some may read this and be like… well? Are you going to cheat on your husband when you’re married? My answer is no... I already cheated on God when I went to prostitution and I was already like Gomer when I was a prostitute. But now I have to accept that my husband may have to deal with backlash from his friends, from his family, and people may try to lie and say “she just wants you for money”.. No I don’t. Because I had money .. a lot of it and I lost it all in the wilderness. I don’t want his fame because people get on my nerves sometimes and I like to chill.. And I don’t want my future husbands so called empire.. I want real love with the base of God as our foundation.

Moral of the story

Always pray for discernment when you are looking for a spouse. Always pray that God confirms your marriage with His beautiful word. And pray for a healthy God ordained marriage.

Prayer

Dear Lord Heavenly Father, I call you Yahweh. I pray that you raise up a Davidic anointing for marriages. I pray that your people don’t get married for money or the love of money… but to be like Ruth. I pray for a Ruth Season. That you restore the real true meaning of marriage, fearing God, and the real true meaning of purpose. That we don’t base our marriages on being a celebrity but we honor God. I pray that we are humble according to Proverbs 12:9.. I pray that we worship doors open. I pray that we love You God. Amen. ❤

May we love you Lord. May you send our Hosea.

Dates With Jesus : Overcomer The Movie

The day I went to see this movie I had a bad day…. I failed at something that I believed I wasnt going to fail in… That day was hard for me. Just being honest.

#Honestly

When I made the decision to go see this movie ( completely spur of the moment by the way) it wasnt planned.. Actually, I was going to wait till next month because I wanted to save my money. I had enough but … I just wanted to save. However, things got so bad I just decided “you know what…. I’m going to the movies.”

Back Drop

Now God has been dealing with me about this movie with Priscilla Shrier .. I mean every where I went I saw a picture of this movie. It’s ironic because when I first started “Dates With Jesus” in 2016 it came from her movie War Room (Proverbs 31:30)… So here I am three years later returning back to my first love.

Things I Loved About The Movie

  • So I go to the movie with my food which were Nachos 🙂 and begin to enjoy watching the movie… And I was literally in there bawling crying… And the others who were there were cheering as well ! John 3:16
  • The movie has the anointing of Solomon… it shows the grace of redemption of someone old in age who comes back to Christ Jesus. It was beautiful (Luke 5:32).
  • It shows the power of prayer… Sometimes we as humans try to take things into our own hands… and that DOES not work ! But prayer does ❤ 1 Thessalonians 5:17

For Such A Time As This

What I loved the most is the Bible Verse that was in the movie… it takes serious boldness and faith to do that, especially in the times we are in. I myself have encountered trouble that comes with this. Everytime I talked about Jesus on my jobs I always got in trouble. And shockingly .. some people who claimed to be believers would tell me not to talk about God at work.. but I couldn’t help it. So this movie encouraged me that I will not bow (The Book Of Daniel). God blessed me and so I will say his name… Jesus.

How Did God Use This To Encourage Me ?

There are times that we have bad days and failures … There are times that we fall short… but we have to repent. God used this to show me that my failure was a process. And that through my running in His race eventually I will be the Head and Not the Tail….

If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.
Deuteronomy 28:13 NLT
https://bible.com/bible/116/deu.28.13.NLT

Success takes time… it takes years… it’s a journey. It’s hard sometimes but during the running of this race we have to stay close to God….

You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth?

Verse Of The Day

This letter is from Paul, Silas, and Timothy. We are writing to the church in Thessalonica, to you who belong to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. May God give you grace and peace. We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly. As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Even If I Am Blind For A Season

  • Base Scriptures: Acts 9:7-20 EASY

When God Stops Your Plan

Acts 9:4 Saul fell down on the ground. He heard a voice which said to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you fight against me?’

Easy

Man… when I read this in the EASY translation, I was so shocked about how much this relates to my life as a Christian…. And I think you will be to. Just a little back drop about The Apostle Paul.

Before the Apostle Paul encountered Jesus, he was determined to persecute Christians. I mean he was playing no games. He was getting letters, running up on people, probably banging on doors, going from house to house… like the Apostle Paul was probably one of those “it’s on sight when I see you” type of people.

Like in my mind this how I see him

So Saul met Jesus, and we know Jesus is real.. He is so beautiful but He can turn up in a second… Don’t believe me? Look at these verses

  • Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!

New Living Translation

  • Exodus 12:29 And that night at midnight, the LORD

struck down all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sat on his throne, to the firstborn son of the prisoner in the dungeon. Even the firstborn of their livestock were killed.

New Living Translation

  • Exodus 14:26 When all the Israelites had reached the other side, the LORD said to Moses, “Raise your hand over the sea again. Then the waters will rush back and cover the Egyptians and their chariots and charioteers.” 27 So as the sun began to rise, Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the water rushed back into its usual place. The Egyptians tried to escape, but the LORD swept them into the sea.

New Living Translation

Basically, Jesus blinded the Apostle Paul and he couldn’t see, couldn’t eat, and he started praying… Now how does this relate to you ?

  • My story: when Jesus first started dealing with me it was a big No for me. Infact, I told God I would never serve him. Then one day, after I lost everything in the wilderness I heard the Lord God Jesus say “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

There Is A Time In Your Christianity Where You May Feel Blind

  • For a moment, and there are still some times, where I can’t see where I am going like the Apostle Paul. I hear God, I pray to God, and I may have a dream about what God is saying… but I can’t see.. But I know that it is a consequence for what I have done. A lot of time in Christianity we forget that we must repent and there are many repercussions and consequence for our sin. During this time the Apostle Paul was being chastened. I’m sure he may have been scared, I’m sure he may have been afraid.. I mean he was blind, couldn’t eat, drink.. but what did he do? Pray.
  • According to Genesis 50:20 God is going to do something good out of your situation.
  • According to 1 Thessalonians 5:17 we know that we are commanded to pray.
  • According to The Bible  (King James Version) Psalms 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
  • God is with you. Just keep on praying (Matthew 7:7-11). God is dealing with someone about you and He is ready to use them for your deliverance. Praise God for Opened Doors!

Get To Work

True Disciples

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who calls out to me,

‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of

Heaven. Only those who actually do

the will of my Father in heaven will

enter. 22 On judgement day many will say

to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in

your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many

miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

YOU HAVE WORK TO DO. DO NOT WAIT FOR PERFECT CONDITIONS.

  • Ecclesiastes 11:4 Living Bible (TLB)

4 If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

No every one is not called to be a preacher, honestly most of you couldn’t handle it. Every one is not a prophet and everyone is not going to heaven. Work out your own salvation in according to Philippians 2:12-13. While The Apostle Paul was blind, he was focused on God and praying and that is how his deliverance came. So what are you doing? Are you in a fantasy waiting on some random boyfriend or girlfriend (understand that I do not stand for homosexuality In Jesus Name) to come save you from your troubles? What does the BIBLE say ?

  • Proverbs 12:11 Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense. (New International Version)
  • Proverbs 28:19 A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty. (New Living Translation)
  • 1 Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NLT)

Are you being messy while blind? You’re waiting on God but you’re gossiping, being petty, and being mean… what do you think is going to happen to you ?

  • Revelation 2:11 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death. (NLT)
  • Revelation 3:17 “You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. (NLT)

Repent and Turn From Your Wicked Ways.

  • Revelation 3:18-19 NLT

It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead—a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them. All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac,
