Daily Bread: Trusting God During Hard Times

Psalm 105:40-41 Expanded Bible (EXB)

40 When they asked, he brought them quail
    and filled them with bread from heaven [Ex. 16].
41 God ·split [L opened] the rock, and water flowed out;
    it ran like a river through the ·desert [wasteland; Ex. 17:1–7].

Inspiration:

Sometimes when we face challenges and difficulties, we get frustrated. That is a normal human reaction. However, in these moments remember The Word of God. Remember that He already has everything worked out. Continue with your day and know that God will see you through.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Heavenly Father,

Help me to remember that through You I shall prosper (Psalms 1:3). Help me to trust you through adversity and circumstance. I repent for all my sin. Keep me in your loving arms. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

Jesus As My Valentine

Let’s be real … being single while every one is bae’d up is not fun. It’s not. And sometimes you feel alone .. worthless .. and wondering what does she have that I dont ?

But The Bible says,

Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised. Give her the reward of her labor, and let her works praise her at the city gates.

One of the greatest lessons Jesus taught me in the wilderness is learning my self-value through God. In other words , I dont need some fool to tell me how I look while comparing me to some other woman. This is the thing. As Christians we have to learn our identity in GOD. Which means we dont learn from the latest rapper , we dont learn from social media, but we learn who we are by following GOD ! With God , every day is Valetines day.. why ?

  • Because He told me I am fearfully and Wonderfully made according to Psalms 139:14
  • He told me I am anointed according to Psalms 105:15
  • And He told me that I am chosen and called for Such A Time As This according to Esther 4:14-15

…. So what did God tell you? When you face Christian Warfare against your identity you have to combat the devil with THE WORD OF GOD.

When he tells that you are not beautiful, you speak that you are of a royal priesthood – 1 Peter 2:9

When the devil tells you are a failure you say “I have good success” – Joshua 1:8

And when the devil makes you feel bad because you are single or aren’t married on Valetines Day you have to remember that you have learned to be brought low and abound – Philippians 4:12-13

YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT GIVES YOU STRENGTH !

Loneliness is not an excuse for sexual sin. Sexual sin comes with great and dangerous consequences. So dont let the devil ensnare you into trap, but instead focus on God.

Inspiration: In a culture where sexual immorality is running rampart, let us remember the consequences of sin. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for their sexual immorality. In the days of Noah God wiped away a entire generation, and so will he do now. Remember that God is still the Alpha and the Omega. He is the beginning and the End. You and God ARE NOT equal nor will you ever be. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer:

Lord help me to follow You and not a demonic culture. Help me to come out from among them. To you Lord I present my body a living sacrifice. Holy and Acceptable unto You Lord. Jesus I thank You for Your Ultimate Sacrifice. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

We give honor where honor is due. Honor, power, dominion, and glory belongs to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His name is Jesus. Remove people from your life who are blasphemous. Why share in the seat of the wicked? Why be punished like them also. Learn how to let people go, who do not H.O.N.O.R the God that we serve. In Jesus, Name I Pray. Thank God, Amen.

Inspiration:

Coming to Jesus causes an awakening and healing that can only come from Him. Jesus exposes idols in your heart and he heals every wound. When we are wounded it is damaging, but God is the greatest doctor any man can think of.  In being wounded, remember that He is a good God… He will carry you through every trial and tribulation. Amen.  

Prayer:

LORD , remind me that you have my life in the palm of your hands. I do not have to worry about anything. I just have to trust You with all my heart. I Love YOU GOD, Amen.
