DAILY BREAD DEVOTION

Morning Prayer :

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? – John 11:26

Inspiration :

He who lives and believes in Jesus shall never die. Physically, that could mean that we only “sleep,” so to speak, until the resurrection. But spiritually, it would refer to the fact that those whom God has given spiritual life in Christ can never lose it.

Prayer :

You, Lord, are the one who will raise my mortal body or rapture and change on the Day of Christ. You, Lord, also are the one who has raised my sin-dead soul to spiritual life and will never let it die again. I praise You that I am eternally secure, being kept by the power of God unto salvation.

Daily Bread: Through Jesus I am Free

Galatians 5:1 Expanded Bible (EXB)

Keep Your Freedom

Christ set us free ·so that we could live in freedom [to a place of freedom; or by means of freedom; 4:31]. So stand strong. Do not ·change and go back into the slavery of the law [L submit/be fastened to a yoke of slavery].

Inspiration:

When God answers our prayer we must trust Him to maintain them. Keep the freedom God has given you, so that he may hide you under his grace. Living a life as a believer of God is not about being paranoid, but understanding boundaries.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Heavenly Father,

Help me and guide me to enjoy my life. Help me to not live in fear and to embrace that comfort of Jesus Christ. Thank You for your ultimate sacrifice and leading me to victory.  In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

Daily Bread: God Is A Good God

Psalm 105:15 The Message (MSG)

7-15 He’s God, our God,
in charge of the whole earth.
And he remembers, remembers his Covenant—
for a thousand generations he’s been as good as his word.
It’s the Covenant he made with Abraham,
the same oath he swore to Isaac,
The very statute he established with Jacob,
    the eternal Covenant with Israel,
Namely, “I give you the land.
    Canaan is your hill-country inheritance.”
When they didn’t count for much,
a mere handful, and strangers at that,
Wandering from country to country,
    drifting from pillar to post,
He permitted no one to abuse them.
He told kings to keep their hands off:
“Don’t you dare lay a hand on my anointed,
don’t hurt a hair on the heads of my prophets.”

Inspiration:

There is so much required to be a leader of the gospel. A lot of trials and tribulations. Today, instead of being jealous of your leaders why don’t you pray for their wellbeing? Focus more on the good than the bad, and if you do not have a good leader remove yourself from that situation. Amen.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Heavenly Father,

Help me today not to murmur. Help me to rely on your strength and to focus on You. You hold my wellbeing in the palm of your hand. You keep me in perfect peace. Give me the strength to pray for my leaders and to be an encouragement, not a hinderance. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.
