Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Habakkuk 2:1-4 King James Version 2 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

The Jesus Letter – Daily Devotion
New International Version
“no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD. – Isaiah 54:17
Real Life Real Jesus
I have this saying that goes “Life is so much better with God.” Truth be told life is extremely hard and can be difficult. Sometimes we have children who talk back to much, a husband that does not love us, and people who just do not understand your daily struggles. When we go through these moments we should remember not to run to void fillers but instead run to the arms of the true and living God. I know from personal experience that when nobody seems to love you God can and will.
New Living Translation
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, remind me daily that we wrestle not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:10-20). Through you I wear and carry the full armor of God. Thank you Lord for your protection. Comfort and encourage me Lord as I walk through my daily life. If any sin should hinder this prayer, I repent and ask to be forgiven. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.
