Am I Allowed To Be Beautiful?

1 Samuel 25:3 This man’s name was Nabal, and his wife, Abigail, was a sensible and beautiful woman. But Nabal, a descendant of Caleb, was crude and mean in all his dealings.

My Story:

When I was twenty years old, I moved to California after being stationed with the intentions of marrying someone. He was handsome and made me believe that he “had love for me”. However, God told me not to marry him… I didn’t marry him but I continued dating him. God told me that he was talking to someone else but of course I didn’t listen and…. He married someone else behind my back.

It hurt…

It hurt not only because one of our mutual friends knew and I had to find out by walking in on their conversation. But it hurt because she looked nothing like me. She was light skinned, petite, curly hair, and they partied together. I didn’t party, I went to church but I made time for him. I felt lied to and humiliated. It was even worst because even after they were married he just for some reason wanted to always friend me on social media or get in contact with me….

Then one day… God showed me who I was in Christ.. Abigail.

I listened to God after I got my closure for him, I blocked him… for good this time… and I let him go.

Not only that, I have decided that I am not going to attack the woman he is married to or hate her because she is light skin… God made her like he made me. There is nothing I can do about that. But I trust God… one day I’ll have my David and I’ll be like Abigail with a dash of Bathsheba (you don’t know when to shout).

Why am I saying this?

After bad relationships, you can’t hate a certain ethnicity because a man broke your heart. That’s not the will of God. Eve was the mother of all living. God said his House will be called a house of prayer for all nations…. So that means if you really love Jesus… you have to forgive.

Yes…

It hurt… I cried so many times… If only you knew . But there is a little piece in my heart that still trust God. It may be hard right now…. But its going to get better.

Psalms 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

He Who Does Not Work Does Not Eat

I think we as Christians sometimes live in a smoke screen… and the truth is a lot of times believers can chase fantasies and be over wise (Ecclesiastes 7:16). One issue that I think we don’t address as women is…  Well… what do you do when you have a crush on a man?

Lately

I have been struggling so heavily with this and afterwards God came to me in a dream and opened my crushes mouth and said

“He who does not work does not eat”

Now the Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”

Basically.. God used my crush in a dream to rebuke me and tell me to get to work… Why ?

  • Rachel was a shepherd before she was married (Genesis 29:9)
  • Ruth gleaned in the field before she married BOAZ (Ruth 2:3)
  • Rahab had a house before a husband (Joshua 2:1)
  • And the Queen of Sheba had wealth before she went to King Solomon. The Bible says in 1 Kings 10:2 She arrived in Jerusalem with a long train of camels carrying spices, gold, and jewels: and she told him all her problems. (TLB)

LOVE

1 Corinthians 13 and Song of Songs tells us that love is so beautiful and it is designed by God to be joy for us. However, with that being said you still have to work.

  • Another dream I had is girls begin to quit their jobs for the winter (8 weeks) to spend time with their boyfriends.

Sis… That’s not going to work out for you. Fantasy leads to poverty. You have to guard your heart and mind. You have to work. And if you do it God’s way (which is the right way) your work and work ethic will put you in position to be married.

  • Proverbs 12:9 Just be who you are and work hard for a living, for that’s better than pretending to be important and starving to death. 10 A good man takes care of the needs of his pets, while even the kindest acts of a wicked men are still cruel. 11 Work hard at your job and you’ll have what you need. Following a get-rich-quick scheme is nothing but a fantasy. (TPT)
  • Ezekiel 2:5

What am I saying ?

There is nothing wrong with desiring a husband. You need to be married… So you can stay out of other people’s business (1Thessalonians 4:10-12). Also, there is nothing wrong with having a crush but there is everything wrong with a fantasy…. FEAR GOD INSTEAD.

It was faith that made Abel offer to God a better sacrifice than Cain’s. Through his faith he won God’s approval as a righteous man, because God himself approved of his gifts. By means of his faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. It was faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up to God, and nobody could find him, because God had taken him up. The scripture says that before Enoch was taken up, he had pleased God. No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him. It was faith that made Noah hear God’s warnings about things in the future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which he and his family were saved. As a result, the world was condemned, and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith.

When you endure hard trials and people are laughing at you it is not easy. No. It isn’t easy at all, but God allows it so that He can bless you in front of them.

“If thieves crept up on you, they’d rob you blind—isn’t that so? If they mugged you on the streets at night, they’d pick you clean—isn’t that so? Oh, they’ll take Esau apart, piece by piece, empty his purse and pockets. All your old partners will drive you to the edge. Your old friends will lie to your face. Your old drinking buddies will stab you in the back. Your world will collapse. You won’t know what hit you. So don’t be surprised”—it’s God ’s sure Word!— “when I wipe out all sages from Edom and rid the Esau mountains of its famous wise men. Your great heroes will desert you, Teman. There’ll be nobody left in Esau’s mountains. Because of the murderous history compiled against your brother Jacob, You will be looked down on by everyone. You’ll lose your place in history. On that day you stood there and didn’t do anything. Strangers took your brother’s army into exile. Godless foreigners invaded and pillaged Jerusalem. You stood there and watched. You were as bad as they were. You shouldn’t have gloated over your brother when he was down-and-out. You shouldn’t have laughed and joked at Judah’s sons when they were facedown in the mud. You shouldn’t have talked so big when everything was so bad. You shouldn’t have taken advantage of my people when their lives had fallen apart. You of all people should not have been amused by their troubles, their wrecked nation. You shouldn’t have taken the shirt off their back when they were knocked flat, defenseless. And you shouldn’t have stood waiting at the outskirts and cut off refugees, And traitorously turned in helpless survivors who had lost everything. “ God ’s Judgment Day is near for all the godless nations. As you have done, it will be done to you. What you did will boomerang back and hit your own head. Just as you partied on my holy mountain, all the godless nations will drink God’s wrath. They’ll drink and drink and drink— they’ll drink themselves to death. But not so on Mount Zion—there’s respite there! a safe and holy place! The family of Jacob will take back their possessions from those who took them from them. That’s when the family of Jacob will catch fire, the family of Joseph become fierce flame, while the family of Esau will be straw. Esau will go up in flames, nothing left of Esau but a pile of ashes.” God said it, and it is so.

Whether you are sleeping in your car, homeless, starving , dont know how you’re going to eat Just Pray Psalm 57.

Be good to me, God—and now! I’ve run to you for dear life. I’m hiding out under your wings until the hurricane blows over. I call out to High God, the God who holds me together. He sends orders from heaven and saves me, he humiliates those who kick me around. God delivers generous love, he makes good on his word. I find myself in a pride of lions who are wild for a taste of human flesh; Their teeth are lances and arrows, their tongues are sharp daggers. Soar high in the skies, O God! Cover the whole earth with your glory! They booby-trapped my path; I thought I was dead and done for. They dug a mantrap to catch me, and fell in headlong themselves. I’m ready, God, so ready, ready from head to toe, Ready to sing, ready to raise a tune: “Wake up, soul! Wake up, harp! wake up, lute! Wake up, you sleepyhead sun!” I’m thanking you, God , out loud in the streets, singing your praises in town and country. The deeper your love, the higher it goes; every cloud is a flag to your faithfulness. Soar high in the skies, O God! Cover the whole earth with your glory!

My Story : In 2017 God told me I was going to the wilderness . From 2017 – 2018 I went to hell and back. I was in the desert in Antelope Valley Lancaster, California hungry and homeless. I lost everything in three days. It was terrible. I remember those times when I was just go to church to get something to eat. Fast forward when I was at my lowest one of my closet friends betrayed me , laughed at me , and it hurt me so bad. It was right after I had even given her money to help her in her time of need (when I already didnt have anything). It was terrible. But God told me to trust HIM ! Why ? Because David went through something like that also. There are times when it feels like your life is falling apart and sometimes people kick you while you’re down. But you have to trust God. Stay in the fight ! Dont give up He will wipe every tear away from your eye. Trust God. And remember

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.

IF YOU HAVE TO BEG IT AINT FROM GOD LEARN HOW TO SAY NO !

Your miracle is around the corner , walk by faith and not by sight .
