MORNING PRAYER

This is God ’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God ’s Decree. “I’ll turn things around for you. I’ll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you”— God ’s Decree—“bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.

Father I pray that today you protect me from all hurt, harm, and danger. Keep me in your loving arms reminding me daily that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Through You God I can tread upon the lion and the cobra. Remind me daily that I am safe and protected in your arms. If any sin should hinder this prayer. I ask to be forgiven. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

Daily Bread: That Joy That I Have

Sometimes we get so caught up in work, that we forget to enjoy the benefits that God has given us. Today take time to be thankful that God has given you a great reward from your hard labor. Amen.

Show me how to show my gratitude in the blessings you have given me. Show me how to enjoy the time you have given and accept the peace you have to offer. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.
