When God Stops Your Plan

Acts 9:4 Saul fell down on the ground. He heard a voice which said to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you fight against me?’

Man… when I read this in the EASY translation, I was so shocked about how much this relates to my life as a Christian…. And I think you will be to. Just a little back drop about The Apostle Paul.

 Before the Apostle Paul encountered Jesus, he was determined to persecute Christians. I mean he was playing no games. He was getting letters, running up on people, probably banging on doors, going from house to house… like the Apostle Paul was probably one of those “it’s on sight when I see you” type of people.

Like in my mind this how I see him

So Saul met Jesus, and we know Jesus is real.. He is so beautiful but He can turn up in a second… Don’t believe me? Look at these verses

  • Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!

New Living Translation

  • Exodus 12:29 And that night at midnight, the LORD

struck down all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sat on his throne, to the firstborn son of the prisoner in the dungeon. Even the firstborn of their livestock were killed.

  • Exodus 14:26 When all the Israelites had reached the other side, the LORD said to Moses, “Raise your hand over the sea again. Then the waters will rush back and cover the Egyptians and their chariots and charioteers.” 27 So as the sun began to rise, Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the water rushed back into its usual place. The Egyptians tried to escape, but the LORD swept them into the sea.

New Living Translation

Basically, Jesus blinded the Apostle Paul and he couldn’t see, couldn’t eat, and he started praying… Now how does this relate to you ?

  • My story: when Jesus first started dealing with me it was a big No for me. Infact, I told God I would never serve him. Then one day, after I lost everything in the wilderness I heard the Lord God Jesus say “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

There Is A Time In Your Christianity Where You May Feel Blind

  • For a moment, and there are still some times, where I can’t see where I am going like the Apostle Paul. I hear God, I pray to God, and I may have a dream about what God is saying… but I can’t see.. But I know that it is a consequence for what I have done. A lot of time in Christianity we forget that we must repent and there are many repercussions and consequence for our sin. During this time the Apostle Paul was being chastened. I’m sure he may have been scared, I’m sure he may have been afraid.. I mean he was blind, couldn’t eat, drink.. but what did he do? Pray.
  • According to Genesis 50:20 God is going to do something good out of your situation.
  • According to 1 Thessalonians 5:17 we know that we are commanded to pray.
  • According to The Bible  (King James Version) Psalms 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  
  • God is with you. Just keep on praying (Matthew 7:7-11). God is dealing with someone about you and He is ready to use them for your deliverance. Praise God for Opened Doors!

YOU HAVE WORK TO DO. DO NOT WAIT FOR PERFECT CONDITIONS.

4 If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

No every one is not called to be a preacher, honestly most of you couldn’t handle it. Every one is not a prophet and everyone is not going to heaven. Work out your own salvation in according to Philippians 2:12-13. While The Apostle Paul was blind, he was focused on God and praying and that is how his deliverance came. So what are you doing? Are you in a fantasy waiting on some random boyfriend or girlfriend (understand that I do not stand for homosexuality In Jesus Name) to come save you from your troubles? What does the BIBLE say ?

  • Proverbs 12:11 Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense. (New International Version)
  • Proverbs 28:19 A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty. (New Living Translation)
  • 1 Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NLT)

Are you being messy while blind? You’re waiting on God but you’re gossiping, being petty, and being mean… what do you think is going to happen to you ?

  • Revelation 2:11 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death. (NLT)
  • Revelation 3:17 “You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. (NLT)

Devotion : The Truth About Numbers

Numbers next to Colossians and Song of Solomon has got to be one of my favorite books of the Bible. Let me tell you why .

Numbers is clear evidence that God will strike you dead. Sometimes we as believers think that we can just do whatever we want to do and that’s not true ! Actually, it’s far from it. Your sin and disobedience will cause you to die in your wilderness.

  1. All sins will be forgiven except…….

“Listen to this carefully. I’m warning you. There’s nothing done or said that can’t be forgiven. But if you persist in your slanders against God’s Holy Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives, sawing off the branch on which you’re sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.” He gave this warning because they were accusing him of being in league with Evil.

2. When God makes up that He is through with a generation …. THATS IT ! There is nothing that you can do .

By this time Eli was very old. He kept getting reports on how his sons were ripping off the people and sleeping with the women who helped out at the sanctuary. Eli took them to task: “What’s going on here? Why are you doing these things? I hear story after story of your corrupt and evil carrying on. Oh, my sons, this is not right! These are terrible reports I’m getting, stories spreading right and left among God ’s people! If you sin against another person, there’s help—God’s help. But if you sin against God , who is around to help?” But they were far gone in disobedience and refused to listen to a thing their father said. So God , who was fed up with them, decreed their death. A holy man came to Eli and said: “This is God ’s message: I revealed myself openly to your ancestors when they were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. Out of all the tribes of Israel, I chose your family to be my priests: to preside at the Altar, to burn incense, to wear the priestly robes in my presence. I put your ancestral family in charge of all the sacrificial offerings of Israel. So why do you now treat as mere loot these very sacrificial offerings that I commanded for my worship? Why do you treat your sons better than me, turning them loose to get fat on these offerings, and ignoring me? Therefore—this is God ’s word, the God of Israel speaking—I once said that you and your ancestral family would be my priests indefinitely, but now— God ’s word, remember!—there is no way this can continue. In other words … DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR THE OIL GOD HAS GIVEN YOU on people that God has rejected.

Today , focus on God and who He has assigned you to minister to . Dont give your Pearl’s to the swine ! Move on and get ready to cross over !

Devotion : Approved

It was faith that made Abel offer to God a better sacrifice than Cain’s. Through his faith he won God’s approval as a righteous man, because God himself approved of his gifts. By means of his faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. It was faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up to God, and nobody could find him, because God had taken him up. The scripture says that before Enoch was taken up, he had pleased God. No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him. It was faith that made Noah hear God’s warnings about things in the future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which he and his family were saved. As a result, the world was condemned, and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith.

My Story : In 2017 God told me I was going to the wilderness . From 2017 – 2018 I went to hell and back. I was in the desert in Antelope Valley Lancaster, California hungry and homeless. I lost everything in three days. It was terrible. I remember those times when I was just go to church to get something to eat. Fast forward when I was at my lowest one of my closet friends betrayed me , laughed at me , and it hurt me so bad. It was right after I had even given her money to help her in her time of need (when I already didnt have anything). It was terrible. But God told me to trust HIM ! Why ? Because David went through something like that also. There are times when it feels like your life is falling apart and sometimes people kick you while you’re down. But you have to trust God. Stay in the fight ! Dont give up He will wipe every tear away from your eye. Trust God. And remember

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
