Devotion : Learning How To Forgive

It made the Lord happy that Solomon had asked for this. So God said to him, ‘I will give you what you have asked for. I will do it for these reasons: You have asked for a mind that understands how to rule people fairly. You have not asked for a long life or to be very rich. You have not asked for the death of your enemies. I will give to you a mind that is wise . And I will give to you a mind that understands things. You Get To A Place In Life

Where you could care less about your enemies. You get so tired that you begin to accept the fact that the more you focus on your enemies the less successful you will be in your life.

Your enemies are moving on with their life so let them go. But here is the difference if you stay with GOD He will naturally destroy them for you…. because it’s in HIS WORD.

My Testimony

I have people do very evil things to me. A woman who I was friends with in the military and I was there for her through a miscarriage and took her to church … she took my photo and put me on a prostitution site with my phone number .

I’ve been made fun of for incest. I had to sleep in the same bed for years with the person who raped me..and no one cared about me.. and they still dont. Never will.

My own mother told me she doesnt like me.

I’ve been raped , opened up about it to a woman and she cussed me out a day later .

I’ve even been thrown out at two o’clock in the morning for reading the Bible.

I told a old boyfriend what happened to me he called me something like a dog.

I’ve been slapped by a old boyfriend and homeless.

I’ve lost mind

I had a woman who said she was my friend lie on me said I was involved with her husband , confess she was wrong , pretended to be my friend and then turned around and betrayed me again . And this same woman saw me cry at church about being sexually abused then turned around and betrayed me… and we are not even touching the surface of my life.

But I have come to the conclusion that I really don’t care what happens to my enemies. Its up to God. Sometimes you just have to let your enemies go so you can encounter inner healing. It’s hard but spend time with God and He will guide you the right people to help you.

So today rebuke thoughts of murder and suicide. Even if you have to call the hotline to have someone to talk to do it. Just dont give up on life .

Through The Dark Times

Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and when he was in prison he gave a interpretation of dreams. But here is the thing, it took two years after the intrepation for Joseph to be delivered.

But when all goes well with you, remember me and show me kindness; mention me to Pharaoh and get me out of this prison. I was forcibly carried off from the land of the Hebrews, and even here I have done nothing to deserve being put in a dungeon.” When the chief baker saw that Joseph had given a favorable interpretation, he said to Joseph, “I too had a dream: On my head were three baskets of bread. In the top basket were all kinds of baked goods for Pharaoh, but the birds were eating them out of the basket on my head.” “This is what it means,” Joseph said. “The three baskets are three days. Within three days Pharaoh will lift off your head and impale your body on a pole. And the birds will eat away your flesh.” The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.

Right now it may seem as if the wicked are prospering.. it may seem like God has left . You may ask God why do they have a job and I dont ? I’ve been applying over and over again why me? Why God do they have the apartment and I dont ? I work I wake up early and work and they dont even serve you.. why me ?

And it seems like the more you suffer the more dreams you have , but the more they prosper. But here is the thing. If you keep going in two years you will look back and you will be the head and not the Tail. Joseph was not brought out to work at McDonalds or Burger King. NO! JOSEPH was brought out to be put in authority. So you have to keep going !

“I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “In my dream I was standing on the bank of the Nile, Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do. “It is just as I said to Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do. Seven years of great abundance are coming throughout the land of Egypt, “And now let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and put him in charge of the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh appoint commissioners over the land to take a fifth of the harvest of Egypt during the seven years of abundance. So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God ?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”

Here Is Another Mystery

Sometimes God will allow the wicked to rule to prepare you for leadership. Think about Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel ruled under him. Alot of time we want the Joseph anointing but we dont want to be lied on, we want the Daniel anointing but we dont want to go the lions den, you want to be Esther but you dont want to accept there was Vashti before you… Shall you not accept the good and the bad ? You want to be Ruth but dont want to accept that somethings have to die before you marry Boaz..

The Prophetic Word is : Two Years

Just keep going. Choose the narrow way it leads to life!

Redeemed

Isaiah 53:5 New Living Translation (NLT)

In life we take so many things for granted. You don’t realize how blessed you are to be married until you are divorced because you abused your spouse. You don’t realize how fortunate you are to have a home until you are homeless. You don’t realize the value of Biblical stewardship until you have lost all your money. You don’t realize so many things until you lose everything….

Psalm 68:5-6 The Message (MSG)

5-6 Father of orphans,
    champion of widows,
        is God in his holy house.
God makes homes for the homeless,
    leads prisoners to freedom,
        but leaves rebels to rot in hell.

I think about Gomer, Hosea’s wife.. How she chased another man instead of staying with her husband. She left her life and stability because she wanted someone else.. The things of the world… and then after she was destroyed finally her Hosea… her husband came.

If you ever watch the movie Amazing Love, it will give you a understanding of marriage. Of Love. This woman ……. Gomer, a beautiful woman left her family for another man. One day, she didn’t want to dance… she didn’t want to engage in her new boyfriend’s festivities … and what did he do? He removed her from his presence.. All her pretty clothes? Gone. All her beauty? Now destroyed.

And to make matters worst… She is exposed in front of everyone.. and she sits there in bondage.. dirty and destroyed while people are making bets on her and mocking her.. Gomer… This beautiful woman now destroyed… and then…. Hosea comes… and even though she left him and even though she looks dirty with rags on… He picks her and takes her. That’s love.

My Testimony

I grew up in the church, yet I was so abused as a child. Sexually abused, mentally, physically, and emotionally… I was the Vice President of the Choir lead praise and worship and went to the wilderness… Then I started working again , had a good job as debt collector had another job working at Macy’s but left God.. and went to stripping and prostitution. I had a little boyfriend and one day I decided I didn’t want to dance anymore. I stopped going to the strip club and he just left me…

I am Gomer. I remember when I had everything… When I had money, when I had all that I could want and I left God… and lost everything… As I travel through life, waiting and wondering God when…. God why… God how… when are you going to do it? When are you going to deliver me… God when.. please God … please… when. I think of Gomer

Beaten, bruised, and dirty… yet redeemed.

Hosea’s Wife Is Redeemed

3 Then the Lord said to me, “Go and love your wife again, even though she[a] commits adultery with another lover. This will illustrate that the Lord still loves Israel, even though the people have turned to other gods and love to worship them.[b]”

As I walk by faith and not by sight… Through the darkest valley… I pray . Sometimes that’s all you can do is pray. We take grace to far. We think we can do everything we want to do without natural consequences…. My consequence was losing everything the pretty clothes, my beauty, my success, my friends… but yet I will not despise the chastening of the LORD.

So today when you listen to stupid city girls and cardi b and they talk about prostitution, don’t be deceived.

8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. In our day to day lives we have to be determined to hold on to what we have … don’t be paranoid and don’t live in fear but know that God is with you. Care more for other people, take your Bible with you to work you’re going to need it. Read The Bible and pray for those who have cancer. Cherish every moment God gives you because life is so short. Let Him heal you from every pain and know that He really does care about you.
