DAILY BREAD DEVOTION

Morning Prayer :

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? – John 11:26

Inspiration :

He who lives and believes in Jesus shall never die. Physically, that could mean that we only “sleep,” so to speak, until the resurrection. But spiritually, it would refer to the fact that those whom God has given spiritual life in Christ can never lose it.

Prayer :

You, Lord, are the one who will raise my mortal body or rapture and change on the Day of Christ. You, Lord, also are the one who has raised my sin-dead soul to spiritual life and will never let it die again. I praise You that I am eternally secure, being kept by the power of God unto salvation.

Dear Abba, Through You I am more than a conqueror. Help me to focus on You and not worry about what others are saying through my hard times. Let me be reminded on Your Word (Psalm 119), help me to see that You have my life and I need not worry. Amen.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Heavenly Father,

Help me to remember that It Is Written (Matthew 4). Help me to see that Your rewards are greater than earthly rewards. Help me to put my complete and utter trust in You. Knowing that all things work together for my good. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.

Daily Bread: Trusting God During Hard Times

Psalm 105:40-41 Expanded Bible (EXB)

40 When they asked, he brought them quail
and filled them with bread from heaven [Ex. 16].
41 God ·split [L opened] the rock, and water flowed out;
it ran like a river through the ·desert [wasteland; Ex. 17:1–7].

Inspiration:

Sometimes when we face challenges and difficulties, we get frustrated. That is a normal human reaction. However, in these moments remember The Word of God. Remember that He already has everything worked out. Continue with your day and know that God will see you through.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Heavenly Father,

Help me to remember that through You I shall prosper (Psalms 1:3). Help me to trust you through adversity and circumstance. I repent for all my sin. Keep me in your loving arms. In Jesus Name, I pray. Thank God, Amen.
