Habakkuk 2:1-4 King James Version 2 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead—a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them. All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac,

So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Answer me when I shout for help, O God. You are the God that makes me righteous . Give me help in my troubles. Show me that you are kind. Listen to me when I pray.

Devotion : Be Angry And Sin Not.

Story : So I guess now would be a good time to tell everyone I’m a girl and I love being one. One of the things I love to do is get my nails done and what I do is put someone from the Bible name on them or Jesus or a cross. This particular moment I decide to put Rahab because …. you know well that’s my girl and I relate to her.
As I was getting my nails done. The nail tech just decided to push me that day . I mean I was hot. I tried hard to ignore the stupidity but .. I’m a mere mortal. I got angry . I yelled. I was frustrated . I was upset. I made her fix my nails and I honestly did not care how she felt… But then .. The Holy Spirit got me and made me apologize.
Even though I believed that she purposely provoked me I was wrong. What if there was another believer watching me and saw how I was acting ? What does the Bible say ?
Do not let what you regard as good get a bad name.

I went there to show my love of beauty , being feminine, and how it works together with God . This is why the Holy Spirit rebuked me . Because I should not give the Devil a Chance.
The Bible Says
How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory! How plainly it shows what he has done! Each day announces it to the following day; each night repeats it to the next. No speech or words are used, no sound is heard; yet their message goes out to all the world and is heard to the ends of the earth. God made a home in the sky for the sun; it comes out in the morning like a happy bridegroom, like an athlete eager to run a race. It starts at one end of the sky and goes across to the other. Nothing can hide from its heat. The law of the Lord is perfect; it gives new strength. The commands of the Lord are trustworthy, giving wisdom to those who lack it. The laws of the Lord are right, and those who obey them are happy. The commands of the Lord are just and give understanding to the mind. Reverence for the Lord is good; it will continue forever. The judgments of the Lord are just; they are always fair. They are more desirable than the finest gold; they are sweeter than the purest honey. They give knowledge to me, your servant; I am rewarded for obeying them. None of us can see our own errors; deliver me, Lord , from hidden faults! Keep me safe, also, from willful sins; don’t let them rule over me. Then I shall be perfect and free from the evil of sin. May my words and my thoughts be acceptable to you, O Lord , my refuge and my redeemer!

What is bothering you today ? Is it your co-worker ? Pray not my will but your will be done. Don’t you know that even David had to endure Saul ? Esther went through a trial? Rachel cried some times and Hannah was made fun of ? Rahab was known as a prostitute?
It’s going to be ok forgive those people and enjoy your good nights rest . Love you.
“When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners, so that everyone will see them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full. But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you. “When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long. Do not be like them. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven: May your holy name be honored; may your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need. Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us. Do not bring us to hard testing, but keep us safe from the Evil One.’ “If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done.
