Good morning Everyone,

            As I have been in prayer and seeking the Lord, he told me, “Go back to the spiritual basics.” We as Christian believers need to go back to the basics of faith, belief in God, and deliverance. We are living in a time where all we can do is trust God. This fight that we are fighting is in the spiritual realm of God (Ephesians 6:10-20). Tap into that 2000 YEAR OLD FAITH ! That faith that parted the Red Sea ! That Faith that had Moses on the Mountain for forty days and nights with NO FOOD OR WATER ! That faith that makes demons tremble at the name of JESUS ! Without faith it is impossible to please God ! It is my prayer that for these next upcoming months, weeks, and days that you tap into the supernatural realm of F.A.I.T.H like never before ! Amen in Jesus Name!

DAILY BREAD DEVOTION : RECOGNIZING JESUS AS THE MESSIAH

Did you ever study Geometry? Maybe there’s another subject or procedure that you found difficult to understand. We can learn all the rules, but until we actually see how they work, we don’t get it. When I was beginning to learn how to use a computer, the person trying to teach me said that you just to this and then that and it will work. Then he left, and I had no idea about what he had just said. I needed step by step instruction while I did the work. Jesus has told the apostles that he would suffer, die and rise again. They didn’t understand. They had been taught about the Messiah and what was written about him in the Scriptures, but they still didn’t recognize Jesus as the Messiah. Now, Jesus sat with them and reminded them of everything he had told them. He also pointed out the passages in Scripture that referred to him so that they would be able to teach others. After all, you can’t teach what you don’t understand. I can’t point out all of the passages in the prophets or the psalms that refer to Jesus, although I do know some of the ones from Micah, Isaiah, and the psalms, especially psalm 22. Once reminded, I’m sure the apostles could see the connections. Jesus knew that it was a lot to grasp at once and for that reason he had promised to send the Holy Spirit to help them. We, too, have the Holy Spirit to help us to understand the teachings of Jesus. All we need is to call upon him as Jesus tells us.

Lord, you knew that the apostles still needed guidance if they were to understand that Jesus was in fact the Messiah. He helped them by opening their minds and hearts to the Scriptures so that they could help us understand and believe. For all this, we are grateful. Amen.

I'm On God's Time

Here’s the thing about life as a Christian … According to Ecclesiastes 3 we are on a different time-clock than those who do not believe. Why ? Because we have to wait.

How long did it take Jesus to be raised – 3 days (1 Corinthians 15:4)

How many days did Esther fast – 3 days ( Esther 4:15)

How many days did Paul fast after his conversion – 3 days (Acts 9:9)

And even still there are many stories in the Bible of those who had to wait YEARS like Joseph and decades like David for their time.

One of the worst things someone can do in life and ministry is move ahead of God. The Bible tells us in Deuteronomy 1:45,

When you returned, you wept before the Lord , but he didn’t listen to your requests or pay attention to you.

That is the consequence of moving ahead or without God ! He won’t hear you ! So in this season just be STILL ! BE STILL and know that He is God. Stop worrying so much about your life and learn the power of a quiet spirit (Psalms 131).

Prayer

Lord help me to be content and not worry about things that do not concern me. Help me to focus on prayer (Psalms 91) and trusting you through the process. In Jesus Name I pray thank God Amen.
