DO YOU REGRET SAYING NO TO GOD ?

“Now, what do you think? There was once a man who had two sons. He went to the older one and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ ‘I don’t want to,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. ‘Yes, sir,’ he answered, but he did not go. Which one of the two did what his father wanted?” “The older one,” they answered. So Jesus said to them, “I tell you: the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the Kingdom of God ahead of you. For John the Baptist came to you showing you the right path to take, and you would not believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. Even when you saw this, you did not later change your minds and believe him.

Let’s Talk About Rahab

Did you know that Rahab is in the lineage of Jesus AND she was a prostitute (yes you read that right). Did you know that Hosea married a prostitute after God told his prophet to ? You can read that in Hosea 1-3. The Bible tells us to much is given much is required. God is about to allow strong women to become married to broken men. God is going to teach us how to love when a broken man says no to God and his family.

This Is Why

We have a generation and a culture that put evil and perverse men over their children, family, and most importantly GOD. So what is God about to do ?

  • Clean Sweep His church. We are going to see major leaders going to jail (some for life) for child abuse.
  • Fireproof marriages to see if they really love God.
  • “Test that woman” to see if she is really meant for God. When God says dont bow He means it in marriage also.
  • He’s going to make women keep preaching and mothering their children while their husbands are acting like fools.
  • This will take place and begin in 3-4 years.

Always remember Ezekiel 2:5,

Whether those rebels listen to you or not, they will know that a prophet has been among them. “But you, mortal man, must not be afraid of them or of anything they say. They will defy and despise you; it will be like living among scorpions. Still, don’t be afraid of those rebels or of anything they say. You will tell them whatever I tell you to say, whether they listen or not. Remember what rebels they are.

VERSE OF THE DAY

Lamentations 1:7 New Living Translation (NLT)

In the midst of her sadness and wandering,
    Jerusalem remembers her ancient splendor.
But now she has fallen to her enemy,
and there is no one to help her.
Her enemy struck her down
    and laughed as she fell.

PRAYER AND THE BIBLE

Psalm 45 New Living Translation (NLT)

Psalm 45

For the choir director: A love song to be sung to the tune “Lilies.” A psalm[a] of the descendants of Korah.

Beautiful words stir my heart.
I will recite a lovely poem about the king,
for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.

You are the most handsome of all.
Gracious words stream from your lips.
God himself has blessed you forever.
Put on your sword, O mighty warrior!
You are so glorious, so majestic!
In your majesty, ride out to victory,
    defending truth, humility, and justice.
Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds!
Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies’ hearts.
The nations fall beneath your feet.

Your throne, O God,[b] endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.
You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.
Myrrh, aloes, and cassia perfume your robes.
In ivory palaces the music of strings entertains you.
Kings’ daughters are among your noble women.
At your right side stands the queen,
wearing jewelry of finest gold from Ophir!

10 Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say.
Forget your people and your family far away.
11 For your royal husband delights in your beauty;
honor him, for he is your lord.
12 The princess of Tyre[c] will shower you with gifts.
The wealthy will beg your favor.
13 The bride, a princess, looks glorious
    in her golden gown.
14 In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king,
    accompanied by her bridesmaids.
15 What a joyful and enthusiastic procession
as they enter the king’s palace!

16 Your sons will become kings like their father.
You will make them rulers over many lands.
17 I will bring honor to your name in every generation.
Therefore, the nations will praise you forever and ever.
